MicroSeismic, Inc. places the highest value on our employees, contractors, and the environments in which we live and work.
This value is demonstrated in the MicroSeismic Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE) Management System, developed and used by our company as a proactive approach to ensure the health and safety of our employees, contractors and visitors, and to ensure that our work activities have minimal impact on the environment. Through education and training, MicroSeismic’s geophysical contractors who serve the E&P industry are given the information they need to reduce and eliminate risks while minimizing the environmental impact of the work we perform.
Our HSE Management System includes a safety committee of representatives from every department in the company, which is responsible for setting quality and HSE performance objectives, measuring results, and assessing and improving processes.
MicroSeismic meets or exceeds the standards set forth by regulatory agencies such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and industry organizations including the International Association of Geophysical Contractors (IAGC), the Canadian Association of Geophysical Contractors (CAGC) and the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (OGP). In each region where we operate, comprehensive HSE programs based on the recommendations of these organizations form the foundation of everyday actions of our employees
MicroSeismic Geophysical Contractors Work in an Environmentally Safe and Responsible Manner
At MicroSeismic, we care about the rights of the landowners as well as being good stewards of the environment. Not only do our field teams conduct their activities with the utmost care to protect the environment, but the use of our passive seismic imaging techniques helps ensure environmental sustainability. Passive seismic monitoring, which monitors naturally occurring sound sources emitted from the earth, is inherently more environmentally friendly than traditional seismic acquisition.
