Bill Von Gonten is the founder of W.D. Von Gonten & Co. and W.D. Von Gonten Laboratories, which merged in 2022 to form W.D. Von Gonten Engineering. Specializes in hydraulic fracture modeling, reservoir simulations, and oil and gas reserve estimations. Built a state-of-the-art core laboratory to analyze layered reservoirs and develop innovative workflows for hydraulic fracture connectivity and fluid extraction techniques. Co-developed methods to measure permeability in nano-darcy rocks and assess formation damage from completion fluids.
